Auckland Client – Distribution & Manufacturing - Beverages
Client was using MYOB financials in one business and was in the process of setting up another that had very specific advanced inventory requirements. This included Expiry Date & Batch Control, Multi Stock warehouses, remote Sales Order Capture, BOM’s manufacturing requirements. We suggested Ostendo operational software as a package that could cope with this as well as maintaining MYOB for the financials. After a successful implementation the client now enjoys a 98% DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) performance result. We have also written specific reports for this client to meet the industry requirements and developed a fully integrated solution to capture orders in the field and transmit them immediately back into Ostendo, therefore eliminating duplication and errors and dramatically increasing the speed of processing orders.
Auckland Client – Service Industry
Client was utilising Spreadsheets, MYOB and a standalone operational software package. They needed to consolidate this information not only to run their business better but also to report Key Performance Indicators to their customers (major Oil Companies). Stock control, Job Management, Reporting & Duplication were difficulties that were faced daily. Ostendo software was suggested to cope with all of these issues. After the successful implementation of Ostendo and integrating it to their existing MYOB accounting software, the client now has one principal database covering all operational areas along with MYOB coving the full financial reporting requirements. Gains included a 25% reduction in time spent on invoicing, stock losses reduced by 75% and the month end close off reduced from 10 to 3 days.
Auckland Client – Service Industry
Client had operated MYOB Time Billing for some years & was concerned about limited job reporting. They were reviewing alternative systems to replace MYOB. After discussions with the client we developed two custom reports for them. Previously the client had to export data to Excel then customise it to suit. This took in excess of 6 hours for all jobs. Now all Job Managers can run their own reports on demand without delay.
